For telephone, there will be a couple of resources. One will be cellular. If I was able to afford to buy and renovate this house, I will hopefully acquire my Ideal Phone Setup. If so, most of my numbers will be with the SIP? provider. This will mean that all of the 3 voice lines will use the same voicemail box – therefore reducing the number of times that I will have to dial *86 on my home phone. I am sure people will have to adjust since my 412 number will move to my home phone line, and this might confuse some since I will still have the number, but they can’t reach me when I am not home.
As for the cellular phone, if all worked out – it will be an 878 number. I will accept RCS?, and SMS? messages as well as telephone calls. The telephone line will cost more than the SIP lines, but this will be expected considering the number can leave the house with me, and not be tied to one location.
There will be something to consider. The elevator will have a call box in case the elevator decides to stop working while I am in the elevator. With that said, it is required by law that I have an active telephone line to the elevator maintenance company. This will be done through an ATA?. This will not be one of my numbers that I will have, but the service will use my SIP provider that the rest of the numbers will be on. It will likely be one of the current numbers I have now. The caller ID will show my home phone line as the calling number. This is because I will almost always have my house phone with me, and if the company needs to call back, there is a live phone number that they will be able to reach.
